The Eroding of the Basis of Imperialism in Britain

The erosion of the basis for imperialism has been going on, particularly in the period of a globalization. The working class are being forced into a sort of competition with workers in asia and capital is moving globally. There isn't that room for a protected degree of prosperity that previous generations enjoyed to some extent or other. Inacobinism too, sort of a, in a way, slipped through those those cracks as a radical solution. But it wasn't primarily sourced from the institutions that would have sourced a left wing insurgent movement forty or 50 years ago. It didn't originate from within us.
