The Importance of Motherhood in Shakespeare
There aren't very many mothers in Shakespeare. There are not very many, some wicked some mothers. On the whole, I mean, it's a gonor and regan. But on the whole, this is an unusual and very heartfelt relationship. With Simbeline, that's a sort of plot, isn't it? Yes. That's another of those sort of step families being structurally incestuous,. even though they're not literally incestuous.
