Using the Shiller Cape in a Timing Strategy
In late 2019, I wrote that it's time for a venial value timing sin. The entire market was much worse in 99 2000 and hit about 45 where it hit the low to mid 30s at the peak in 2020. We don't actually go short something because of the Shiller Cape. It seems like it's been on the high side for decades.
