Liam Cochran: How do we accurately predict the age of the universe with the age we predict here on Earth differ from an age predicted from another point in space, for example, near a black hole? "Wendy, who keeps time in the universe?" he asks. "Well, we'd have to go ask the black hole, I suppose," she replies. The answer is that Einstein's general theory of relativity upon which the Big Bang theory is based and then calculate what the age is.
