How to Get Boys and Girls to Work Together in Your Class
Getting boys and girls to work together in my class requires that I allow them to play all goals. They said like, oh teacher, why do you always put the boys together? "It was not a choice" For kids, it's still okay to work boys and girls together. As soon as they are developing and getting into the teen years, they become a little bit more self-conscious and avoid working together. If you assign them roles that are specific towards specific genders, I think that's where things get lost.
