The Beginnings of the Beginner's Bible
I had a really cool children's bible growing up, and my favorite part was the burning bush. The burning bush makes me think oflia lickn it almost gives it that biblical, a gothic fiel. Even if you're not religious, there are so many interpretations of the bible, or things inspired by bible stories that are so cool. I have this huge black book from robert crumb that's illustrated the entire book of geneis. There's a legitimately good comic called the action bible, and it just retells the bible, but the art work is so good. That's probably the best way to read the bible if you'renot a very religious person.
