Jiu Jitsu Fundamentals - Framing Isn't Super Effective

The first drill you do in Jiu Jitsu is usually a shrimp. It's kind of the number one exercise we show beginners. A common misconception is like when we teach white belts to shrimp, we're not necessarily teaching them how to actually get into base. The hip escape is an important movement, but using shrimp as, as its own isolated move, not all that common actually in jujitsu.
