The Unregenerate Consciousness of the Unbeliever
Vantille acknowledges that unbelievers are inconsistent with their most basic hostile fallen presuppositions and that is owed not to some residual capacity to reason rightly about the world, but it's owing to God's restraining hand of common grace. And he says, he says, since we could not cut ourselves off from God metaphysically, there remain what he calls rudera or skintillai of the knowledge of God and of the universe in man. So I know we're rushing through this, but like it's very important when thinking about the unregenerate consciousness and the inconsistency of the unbeliever.
