God is so to speak what each creature is modeled after, like an example or exemplar. Now, of course, this doesn't mean that every creature is just like God. For one thing, every creature falls very short of God. For another thing, creatures imitate God in various ways differently from each other. Each creature has as its goal a different aspect of the divine glory.
