'Paul's Walk'

People went to paul's cathedral, not necessarily to worship in god's house, but to pick up the goss. Part of the reason why paul's walk became such a centre was that it was close to centre of english publishing, paternoster row. The place was infested with beggars and thieves. And so it remained for centuries, until the luft waffe had apoppatit. Oh well, i shall continue to cry into my local cask ale.
