Choosing the Right Wines for Blind Tasting
If you find one from Southwest France or the Languidoc that is using Bordeaux varieties and maybe tastes similar to Bordeaux in a lot of ways, you can offer guests something that is a high quality. Also, I think for wines that you might taste it and think, oh, this is Premier Crue or this is Grand Crue, Burgundy quality level,. But maybe it's a village level price ormaybe it's a declassified wine. So I think just making the judgment of yourself based on how you evaluate the wine could be helpful.
