Do You Think That the Plight of the Woman in That Era Has Shifted?

i hope there's just more general respect accorded to women. Certainly i think there is more than was true in the 19 fifties and 19 sixties. If a group of artists are working on something with great intensity, the input of a spouse,. whether male or female, is always going to be seen by people who aren't privy to that input as a threat to a particular kind of dynamic. And it's almost designed to stoke resentmentm but one sense i get from reading the few things that i've read about her is that her notes and thoughts were actually very acute - when they were delivered directly from her.
