Is There Anything in the Book That Is Shocking?

The west is very much cut and dried here. Here's the way things work, right? There's there's little mysticism. It depends on your practice,. But this is like, leaning hard on the mystical side of things. And if i remember correctly, the bagavad gita and the vedas are kind of the same - they line up almost exactly. The expression of it is just a litle bit different. Maybe the only thing is talking about how emptying yourself of the knowledge is the way to go. That might be shocking more than any other things. Everything else seemed to line up pretty pretty well, even with things like buddhism, right? Buddhism
