The Effects of Water Vapor on Warming

As the temperature increases what happens is that the capacity of the air to basically soak up water also increases. So for a one degree change in temperature you get about a 7% increase in how much water the air can hold. And it turns out that water vapor itself is a greenhouse gas. Both of these have important feedback effects in warming.
