The Importance of Industrial Policy in the UK

In order to have a proper industrial policy in the UK, I think you've got to hit at least five things. We have an ongoing labor shortage, including about five million people who are long term out of work. And then there's the overwhelming problem in the UK at the moment, the state capacity.
