The House Freedom Caucus and GOP Leadership Engage on Appropriations

The House Freedom Caucus is starting to engage on this appropriations fight. Novo Nordisk, the big drug maker has hired a Madison group to lobby on issues related to Medicare coverage of anti-obesity medications. Chip Roy led a letter to colleagues asking them to back a plan by 14 Texas Republicans to oppose funding for DHS until border security measures are enhanced.
