Joseph Bates wanted Adventists to endorse his perspective on the Sabbath. So, he had come to them with this doctrine and they didn't really see any importance in it. But somehow they came to an agreement where she would support his doctrine and he would support her visions. And so she said he wants us keeping the Sabbath and they kept it from six to six until this got corrected later.
