Is There Evidence to Support the Effects of Caloric Restrictions in Mice?
There isn't, there is no generalization that I would say is fair in terms of the quality of the diet or the composition of the diet. The thing that does seem, I think pretty compelling to me is the idea that at least part of the effects of caloric restriction require a prolonged fasting period.
