The Importance of Being Able to Identify

The literature says that even though it's only 5 to 10% of the population, the literature says it could be as much as 80% of clients who've had childhood abuse and neglect. The hallmark I would say with these clients is they're suspicious. And they will come to therapy because they often feel they often struggle with anxiety and depression. They often feel confused about their identity. Like they can shift they can look DID, but they're not always going to be dissociative identity disorder. But they can shift real quickly like and say there's a part of me that just gets so angry and rages and does things that I never thought I would do like my parents. Right.
