A 60 mil deep or 50 mil deep wheel like that years ago, it literally rode like a buck in Bronco. When you have a deeper section profile, you have the spoke bed and the clincher area where the tires connected. That is going to act like a relief spring as you hit bumps and vibrations. It gives you reduced vibration, which means your tire is going to track straight.
