Willie Nelson: I've been doing this rambling piece that they've been working on uh an a Texas magazine for months. He says he was listening to audio tapes of Bob Dylan's songs and heard one about Billy the Kid. "I'd come up with a verse to add to the song which it's ridiculous to think you can add anything to Dylan's music but this was a song that he didn't finish" His first record deal came when he was just 39 years old in New York City, his manager Charlie Mann told him 'you're gonna be here long time'
