Are We at a Tipping Point in American History?
If we don't arrest this trajectory, we are oing to end up either in civil war or some form of tyranny. Or do we move toward a different understanding of what it is to be free? I don't know the answer whether that's possible at this point. We may be past a tipping point. And i'll just finish with one thought. Pittsburg, 50 years ago, was a dump, right? I mean, tat its river was practically on fire. The ability of that city to renew itself...is a striking testament to the fact that we are not like other nations, where once decline sets in, it's permanent.
