The Mount of Transfiguration
The size and just what an incredible outpouring it is. And I'd like to depict it sort of as Jesus' day and the sun. There's a couple two or three things in which he is framed right here in the sun as the Messiah. So we need to talk about those. The event was important in many ways. Priesthood authority was conferred upon Peter, James and John. He specifically directs them to go and get ass, a young donkey for him to ride into town on. This also is reminiscent of Solomon when they were crowned king of ancient Israel. Instead of horse or anything, he specifically summoned a donkey and he became the symbol of a humble King.
