Governing Means Making Enemies
Frida Ghitis: Radical frustration with moderates is driven by a mix of true belief and self-interest. She says radical leaders come from a lower social tier than the first cohort of leaders after the Revolution. Radicals are outraged at the lack of vigorous measures against enemies of the Revolution, she says. Ghitis: Those who are unfettered by traditional norms of behavior fall into the category of radicals.
