Disney had a big case of prequelitis when they first took over Star Wars. The Clone Wars is extremely popular and any opportunity to resuscitate the series they killed will jump all over. Now, what's the Clone Wars without Dave Filoni? I know Dave is an executive producer on the Bad Batch but his footprint is really expanding in live action right now.
