How to Capture Your Ideas

I've got a pretty good memory for remembering stuff. I think it was, don't look back in. One night in Paris, rainy night. After being out, funnily enough, to be out of strip club. And kind of wrote it drunk, got up the next day and the words were lying there on a fucking thing. The guitar was on the floor in an hotel room. My initial reaction to it was, that'll sound pretty good if we do it for the next record. It started off as a song about a woman of a certain age whose life is passed by but she's raised in a glass thinking, you know what, fuck it, I don't care.
