The Debate Between Cash Flow and Monitoring Value
Most of our members have sold the business that they created over many years. They're sort of two camps. Some people consider their budget the cash flow that their assets create. Others would say the proper way to thnk about it is to have a reasonably unbiased, rigorous valuation process every year and see how much your portfolio goes up or down. The more above two % you live on, the more stressed you will be, to preserve principle.
