China and the US Flex Their Military Might Around Taiwan
Steele is reintroducing a bill that would arm Taiwan with the tools it needs to defend itself and deter a CCP invasion. There was an effort at this last year, but they were never put to the floor for a vote. China has sent 68 aircraft and 10 warships on areas around Taiwan since Monday. The US confirmed its P8A Poseidon reconnaissance plane had been deployed to fly through the Taiwan Strait.
