I generally try to write short and tight, but then when I edit, I have a book coming out in September about discipline or temperance. But the process of editing for me was a process of cutting and cutting and cutting. The more we became minimalist, the more that we let each line speak for itself. It took us longer to design packaging that quote unquote, said less, but it actually said far more by saying less.
