The Slavery of North Africa
Robert Davis estimates that the slave traders from Tunis, Algeria and Tripoli enslaved one to 1.25 million Europeans in North Africa beginning in the 16th century until the middle of the 18th. These numbers do not include the European people who were enslaved by Morocco and other raiders and traders of the Mediterranean Sea. They're stealing them in Europe and taking them to Africa to work in like mines or something. And is that why you end up with all the like, South African white people? That's a good question.
