Is There Anything That Changes When You're Evaluating Equity Investments?
I could tell that there were some countries where just the entire market was cheap. And these are places that people are not interested in investing in equity. Things like Japan, Korea, Turkey and so on. So I asked him if he would go to Seoul and visit all the companies in his portfolio. He said, "Oh, that would be such a blast" It's helpful to understand how the managers and owners think about these businesses.
