As executive director of the Young Women's Freedom Center you dropped out of high school many times. You grew up in public housing and witnessed a lot of violence, did that affect your life? I've been so passionate about how systems fail and don't work for folks. There's nothing that we all want more than to live in safe communities where we feel like we can put our little kids on a big wheel.
