The Limitation of the on Call Shifts
An air budget is a way to limit the amount of change that can be pushed out at one time. It's based on two factors: how much tolerance your users have for disruption, and if you're going to make changes or roll them out faster than expected. The idea behind an air budget is it allows times to do zero down time deployments. But in enterprise companies like Apple with thousands of employees, this may not work as well when there are only 20 developers per company.
