The Hellenistic Widows and the Distribution of Food
The church has taken up this mantle of carring for those who were in need. This was a pretty big issue for the mission at surthe hellenistic widows, in one sense, were doubly vulnerable. They're vulnerable because they're widows tey're also displaced from home. The hebraic widows may have had resources from relatives who live near by,. but the hellenistic ones are remote and don't have access to those kind of resources.
