I wasn't aware of much coming out of the West Coast. What we were getting was more like the New York squawk, you know. So you get a Patty Smith television talking heads, which all seemed to be kind of descended from the velvet underground. Then people like the Ramones and Blondie. But basically actually all very New York thinking about it. I mean, human nature hasn't changed at all. If it did, then Shakespeare would be irrelevant.
