The ACT government has not banned barbecues from anywhere, and it is not banned the use of LPG. If you have a barbecue, you'll meet about 13 kilos of greenhouse gas emissions in the process of doing that. So electric homes are saved money and they're better for the environment. But we also know in a lot of areas, it's just not the status quo to have electric home. Why aren't people using these electric appliances instead of the gas funds? We've found through our research on this report that only around 50% of households could actually decide tomorrow that they were going to completely upgrade their house to electricity.
