Caffeine is one of those things in medicine where we've had differing recommendations. I choose to believe it'll extend your life, says the fitness expert. If you drink a coffee at six and go to the gym at seven then that's probably not going to have an effect on quality of sleep or wake-up time. So again, it falls into that category for me not worth worrying about. But if it works for you, the exercise is not the end of the world.
