How to Measure the Expansion of the Universe
Astronomers have developed a new way to measure the expansion of the universe. The method doesn't rely on safety variables or type one supernova. It's still fairly initial, but their results seem to hold more closely to the measurement rates found in the cosmic microwave background radiation.
