How to Automate a Survey to Get People to Agree or Disagree

The vast majority of the questions took was stating some kind of opinion or a stance that a person could take and then asking the respondent whether they agree or disagree with it. The main goal for us was to get people to agree or disagree to basically say which side of the fence they're on on these issues. In practice, less than 20% of people chose one of those other options, I think, on the vast majority of questions. We also told people with weekly agree or weekly disagree, the two middle points in the scale, that they should choose it even if they're only leaning slightly to one side. So we said if your view is depends, but leaning negative, then just say
