I think anyone who follows my work knows that I'm not exactly a big fan of the mainstream media and I've been very critical about many of the things. But people also should not be confused. When we talk about societies like Russia and China, there is a difference between a media landscape which is increasingly misrepresentative and not entirely accurate. In Russia, for example, there is no independent media anymore. Everything is state controlled. 80% of the Russian public get their news from television and that is entirely controlled by one man and his cronies. So yes, we don't have the perfect media landscape, but it's nothing like these authoritarian countries. And again, we shouldn't take that
