Hitler wanted the army to be racial and politically pure by his own standards. He saw the prussianized army as a threat to his noy rule, and wanted to noify its structure. Loyalty and purity mattered. And that's the only thing he cared about. The mentality of soldiers had developed into something combin ing convenience and indifference. This expediency was nurtured by nosy ideology which would lead to people becoming indifferent and impersonal.
