Paleo diet is based on really thin and kind of poorly done anthropology. All these groups are equally healthy from the purely vegetarian to the purely meat eaters are all very healthy. It's one of those funny narratives that's so compelling to some people that it's sort of has taken off, I think, a lot of proportion to how well it's established.
