How Does Philanthropy Work?
There is some philanthropic involvement in carbon removal. But I think the average person listening, unless they work in that field, it's probably only really rich people who know how it even works. We have to reduce our emissions about 40 gigatons a year right now and we have to bring that down by about 35 gigaton a year. The IPCC is very clear about that. There are frontiers, probably the most famous one and certainly in Silicon Valley land.
