Is the Emergency's Act Really Used?
The government spent around $21 million on the inquiry. The Emergency's Act has never been invoked since it came into effect. We needed to know whether it was an act of overreach on the part of the Trudeau government to do so, says John Defterios. It is a very big thing. If you're going to essentially suspend the Constitution or parts of the Constitution, even for a very limited period of time, then you have better be able to explain why you are doing that.
