Kennedy had a lot of guns to do this, to try to tamp down the temperature. I think his model was rose roosevelt. New deal, liberal liberalism was popular. But then it got buried in this world war too. Mobilization. And we created this monster that's become bigger and bigger. We can't stop them. Every time there's any kind of muzzle trying to e put on you have all these lobbiists moving against it. So it's just where it's we're stuck. No american president has been able to go there.
