I think that he is a sincere libertarian, that that has been his view for a long time. And the idealism hasn't disappeared. But it's hard to account within the terms of the idealism for climate change denial unless you accept a really extreme libertarianism. I go through some of the ideas of Murray Rothbard and of Ludwig von Mises that I think are the best ideological justification for what Koch has done with respect to climate change.
