Why Is the Supreme Court Leaving Out Sex Discrimination?
Justice alito's leaqed opinion sets out a few reasons for abandoning starry decisis. It says row was egregiously wrong when it was decided, and gives no credence to any of the factors that helped build row in the first place. So elito gutted the legal basis of row. And he also went a little bit further and kind of tried to preempt, or cut off at the knees, any other theories that people might bring once row was overturned. What he had in mind was equality.
