Domestic Pets Are Not Family Members
I think I'll get a lot of pushback on this from some listeners maybe, but I have a hard time. I don't think pets are family members. It's kind of in this word like that when we conflate like animals into family without any consideration of like, well, what are we doing here? So yes, there's a drive to sentimentality is one and it seems we're getting into some dangerous territory with the good of the family or how we're loving each other. And yet we all have, we have a created soul, for instance. Animals aren't persons, they're not persons, they’re animals. We are animals, but persons.
