In 20 19, about 68 sand non human primates were used in research. A lot of the money is into expanding the centres so that they can house more. But over all, it seemse certainly t hes in this field say that a lot more investment is needed. In order to fully reset, re vamp the current set ups of all the primate research centres across the country would require a one time sum of 50 million dollars.
