The Limits of Consciousness

consciousness is still a holy grail within philosophical neuroscience. So it's kind of not going to be a good litmus test or a good bar for AI. We're definitely getting to the limits, both neuroscientifically, philosophically and probably also computationally in terms of making all of these things align. But as long as there's a black box there, as longas there's ablack box, it's going to be probably totally impossible to distinguish them.
